Under UK consumer law, you automatically have a 14-day “cooling-off” period from the date of your booking. To protect your rights, we are legally required to wait until this 14-day period has passed before we can begin any work—including scheduling your site visit or conducting background desktop research.

We understand that when it comes to property, time is often of the essence. If you would like us to proceed with your survey immediately, without waiting for the 14-day period to expire, we simply need your explicit permission to do so.

What this means for your cancellation rights:

• You still have the right to cancel if you change your mind before the survey is fully completed.
• If you cancel after we have started work (e.g., after the site visit or initial research), you will only be charged a proportionate amount for the work already completed.
• Once the survey services have been fully performed (the physical survey is done and the report/plans are delivered), your right to cancel is lost.
